Merchandiser

Role Overview: As a Garment Merchandiser in the Textile/Garment Manufacturing industry, your main responsibility will be to manage and coordinate between the design, production, and buyer teams. You will ensure the smooth execution of orders from sampling to final shipment. Your strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, fabrics, trims, and buyer communication will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Understand buyer requirements and ensure timely development of samples and approvals - Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure quality and timely production - Communicate with buyers regarding product specifications, costing, and delivery timelines - Follow up on raw material procurement and inventory availability - Prepare and manage Time and Action (TNA) calendar for orders - Monitor production status and solve issues to ensure on-time delivery - Ensure product quality matches buyer expectations and industry standards - Maintain all documentation related to purchase orders, costing, and quality - Conduct market and trend research to support new product development Qualification Required: - Graduate or Diploma in Fashion Designing/Textile/Apparel Merchandising - 3-5 years of experience in garment merchandising, preferably in export or domestic brands - Strong understanding of garment production processes, fabrics, trims, and finishes - Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP software - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and time-management abilities - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Additional Details: The job is full-time with a day shift schedule.
