MEP Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

·        Support senior engineers in the design review, planning, and execution of MEP works.

·        Assist in preparing shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.

·        Monitor installation of HVAC, electrical, fire-fighting, plumbing, and other MEP systems at site.

·        Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution.

·        Assist in conducting site inspections and quality checks for MEP installations.

·        Track work progress and report daily/weekly updates to the project team.

·        Assist in preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantities), material requirements, and cost tracking.

·        Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.

·        Support testing & commissioning activities for MEP systems.

·        Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for technical clarifications.

Key Skills & Competencies:

·        Basic knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting).

·        Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or related drafting software (preferred).

·        Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

·        Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

·        Ability to work in a team and under the supervision of senior engineers.

·        Strong communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

·        Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

·        0–6 years of experience in construction projects.

·        Knowledge of relevant standards and codes will be an added advantage.
