MEP Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret MEP design drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural, and civil teams to avoid clashes and ensure integrated execution.
• Supervise the installation of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire fighting, and low current systems.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of MEP systems.
• Verify and ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and sustainability requirements (e.g., LEED, Estidama, etc.).
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure proper installation and functioning of all MEP systems.
• Manage MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and approvals.
• Assist in cost estimation, procurement, and technical evaluation of MEP-related materials and equipment.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation related to MEP activities.
• Lead MEP testing and commissioning phases to ensure systems are fully functional before handover.
• Maintain and update project documentation including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in MEP engineering within the real estate or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP design standards, codes (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, DEWA, etc.), and local authority regulations.
• Hands-on experience with project coordination, site supervision, and MEP troubleshooting.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and relevant engineering software.
• Good understanding of sustainability practices and energy-efficient systems is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
