Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. MEP Design Review & Planning:

  • Review and validate MEP designs, shop drawings, and BOQs in coordination with consultants and architects.
  • Verify technical compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling MEP activities in line with overall project timelines.

2. Site Execution & Supervision:

  • Supervise MEP works on-site for quality, safety, and adherence to schedule.
  • Ensure proper installation of HVAC systems, fire fighting systems, electrical wiring, panels, lighting, water supply, drainage, etc.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and coordinate with civil teams for work sequencing.

3. Coordination & Communication:

  • Liaise between architects, structural engineers, contractors, and service consultants for design clarification and coordination.
  • Conduct MEP coordination meetings and resolve conflicts across disciplines.
  • Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.

4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover:

  • Oversee system testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover.
  • Verify third-party inspections and certification requirements.
  • Prepare handover documents including as-built drawings, warranties, manuals, etc.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain all technical records, daily site reports, and progress updates.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly MEP reports for internal and client review.
  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory documentation related to MEP is in place

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, and plumbing systems
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and technical documents
  • Familiar with building codes, safety regulations, and energy standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project coordination skills
  • Strong communication and vendor management capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Project, and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Certification in MEP design or project management is an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of MEP experience in residential/commercial real estate projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
