Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance storage system components with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
• Build and optimize low-level and high-level modules using C++, Java, and Python
• Work extensively on flash storage technologies, including performance tuning, wear leveling, and reliability mechanisms
• Develop algorithms and data structures for storage efficiency, fault tolerance, and data integrity
• Analyze system bottlenecks and conduct root-cause analysis for performance and stability issues
• Collaborate with architecture, platform, and infrastructure teams to define and implement storage solutions
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to uphold engineering excellence
• Ensure solutions meet production-quality standards through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tooling, and system observability
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the team
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 8+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, storage platforms, or infrastructure software
• Strong hands-on expertise in C++, with solid working knowledge of Java and Python
• Proven experience working in the storage domain, including block/file storage or distributed storage systems
• Deep understanding of flash-based storage technologies, SSD internals, and I/O subsystems
• Strong grasp of operating system concepts such as memory management, concurrency, file systems, and networking
• Experience building highly reliable, low-latency, and high-throughput systems
• Ability to debug complex issues across multiple layers of the software stack
• Solid understanding of performance profiling, benchmarking, and optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a structured and analytical approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
