Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead, motivate, and manage a team of field sales executives for driving gold loan business in the assigned territory. Ensure achievement of sales targets, build customer relationships, and maintain high service quality while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive gold loan sales through field visits, customer acquisition, and relationship management.
  • Achieve individual and team targets (disbursement, cross-sell, and customer retention).
  • Identify new markets, customer segments, and local opportunities to grow business.

2. Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate field sales executives to achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets.
  • Monitor team performance and provide on-the-job training, guidance, and support.
  • Allocate leads, track productivity, and ensure disciplined field activities.

3. Customer Relationship & Service

  • Ensure superior customer service and experience at every stage of the gold loan process.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and escalate critical issues when required.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat and referral business.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure team adherence to company policies, RBI guidelines, and KYC norms.
  • Maintain strict vigilance over loan documentation, gold valuation, and disbursement process.
  • Regularly monitor pledged gold security and minimize risk of fraud or loss.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly reports on sales, leads, conversions, and collection status.
  • Coordinate with branch operations, credit, and collection teams for smooth loan processing.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Proven track record in field sales (preferably Gold Loans / BFSI sector).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet targets consistently.
  • Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • 36 years of experience in sales, with at least 1–2 years in team handling.
  • Experience in Gold Loan / NBFC / Banking sector is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of local language and geography is essential.
