Job Overview

Job Title:
Area Sales Manager
Business Unit:
Retail Assets
Team Size:
6-8 Direct Reports

Responsible for:

Achieving sales and cross-sell targets
Guiding and mentoring the team
Managing profitability and acquisition costs
Ensuring compliance and documentation standards

Core Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:
Achieve sales budgets, manage profitability, monitor competition.
Revenue Generation:
Identify new opportunities, collaborate with RMs.
Relationship Management:
Hire/train staff, drive cross-sell, manage client/DSA relationships.
Compliance:
Ensure policy adherence, train team, coordinate with BUs.
People Management:
Set goals, pursue learning, develop competencies.
Risk & Control:
Follow risk policies, support audits.

Knowledge & Experience

Education:
Bachelors (mandatory), Masters (preferred)
Language:
Fluent in English
Experience:
8–9 years total, 4–5 years in relevant role
Domain:
Retail Asset Products in Banking)
