Job Title: Sales Representative – Disposable Medical Poly Bags Reports to: Regional Sales Manager / Head of Sales Location: Open (territory-based; frequent travel within assigned region) Employment Type: Full-time, field-oriented role 1. Position SummaryDrive top-line revenue and market share for our single-use medical-grade poly bags (infection-control, biohazard, specimen transport, patient-belongings, etc.) by identifying new opportunities, nurturing key hospital and healthcare accounts, and closing deals with purchase / materials managers and distributors. 2. Key Responsibilities % Time Core Function Typical Activities & Deliverables 50 % Hunting & Lead Generation • Map territory, build prospect lists (hospitals, labs, diagnostics chains, OEM packagers).• Cold-call, email, visit decision-makers; qualify needs and budgets.• Enter all leads in CRM with accurate data. 25 % Account Management & Growth • Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensure contract renewals.• Upsell higher-margin SKUs (e.g., printed/bar-coded bags, color-coded waste bags).• Coordinate trials and handle technical queries with QA/R&D. 15 % Sales Process & Negotiation • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate price-volume tiers, credit terms, and SLAs.• Liaise with finance & logistics to ensure timely delivery and invoicing.• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and maintain healthy pipeline coverage (3× quota). 10 % Market Intelligence & Reporting • Track competitor pricing, tender outcomes, regulatory updates (BIS, CPCB).• Provide weekly funnel and forecast reports; suggest new product features. 3. Required Qualification Bachelor’s degree (Science, Pharma, Life Sciences, or Business preferred). 2-5 years proven field-sales success in medical consumables, infection-control products, or hospital disposables. Working knowledge of biomedical waste segregation norms (e.g., BMWM Rules 2016), ISO 13485 & CE/MDR basics. Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) and MS Office/Google Workspace. Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel 60–70 % of the time. 4. Desired Skills & CompetenciesHunter mindset with strong objection-handling and closing skills. Comfort demonstrating product sterility, strength, and compliance specs to biomedical engineers & infection-control committees. Data-driven: track conversion rates, GM%, average order value, DSO. Relationship-builder who can navigate hospital purchase committees and government tenders. Self-motivated, organized, and resilient under quota pressure. 5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales Quota Achievement: ≥ 100 % of monthly target. New Account Wins: ≥ 4 new hospital accounts per quarter. Average Deal Size / Margin: Maintain ≥ 25 % gross margin.
