Key Duties and Responsibilities Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of simulation techniques of Ansys Mechanical products to provide highest level technical support to Customers and Channel Partners Interact with customers to help diagnose issues, as well as research and find solutions to a wide variety of large scope, complex problems, to improve customers productivity and satisfaction with ANSYS products Identify the knowledge gap based on the latest industry trends and requirements. Work with multiple subject matter experts to address the gaps. Create knowledge on the latest Ansys product releases. Develop technical expertise in one or more simulation areas. Design, construct, and maintain data. Data pipeline development Maintain the performance and optimization of the data processing. Data manipulation tasks Stay up to date with the latest advancements in generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning techniques, and identify opportunities to integrate them into our customer support products and services. Participate in other strategic and company initiatives, as needed. Be agile and open to new responsibilities based on the business need. Learn and gain expertise in new technical areas as and when required. Developing simulation best practices, solutions, FAQs for knowledge base Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers. Develop technical expertise in one or more simulation areas Submit suggestions for product improvement, when needed. File defect reports and verify fixes adhering to defect reporting processes. Participate in application field testing of new releases to ensure that new features and workflows will address customer requirements Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Masters or Bachelor s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical/Applied Mechanics/Aerospace/Automotive) Sound Knowledge of Structural mechanics & Finite Element Analysis Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to implement numerical models to obtain practical engineering solutions to difficult problems. What You Will Do: Partner with the team in the development of the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control project. Develop strong business case and evaluate tradeoffs within project. Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop, manage and own project scope. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure. Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart. Analyze critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones. Own the project schedule Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget. Monitor and maintain costs within budget. Partner with project team to create project Quality Plans using 2-3 quality planning tools and techniques. Monitor and maintain plans. Develop a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze, and understand project risks; develop and monitor a risk response plan. Estimate, acquire and assign cross functional project resources. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to the functional manager on performance reviews. Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations. What You Will Need: Basic Qualification Minimum Bachelor s of Technology Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of work experience with the medical devices industry Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills including risk management experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
