About the Role

Assistant General Manager – Print Media Sales


Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales & Revennue

  • Drive achievement of sales targets and ensure consistent revenue growth across markets.
  • Design and implement effective sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Explore and unlock new business opportunities across industries and geographies.


Growth Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and corporate clients.
  • Develop customized media solutions to meet client objectives and maximize ROI.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with CXO-level stakeholders.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and executives.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
  • Provide training, guidance, and strategic direction to enhance team capability.


Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and digital teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Champion innovation in print media offerings to meet evolving client needs.


Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PG in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in Media Sales, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
  • Strong exposure to Print Media; experience in integrated media (print + digital + activations) preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building high-value client portfolios.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
