Job Description

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance and operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of machinery, mechanical systems, and equipment. The role involves managing a team of technicians, scheduling maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Supervise and coordinate daily activities of mechanical technicians and fitters. Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime. Inspect work to ensure compliance with company standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations. Maintain and update maintenance logs and documentation. Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and spare parts required for maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., electrical, operations) to ensure smooth operations. Train and mentor junior technicians to improve skill levels and work efficiency. Monitor and enforce safety procedures and company policies. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in budgeting, planning, and procurement for maintenance activities.
