Mechanical Service Engineer

As a candidate for this position, your primary responsibility will be to attend after-sales service complaints in accordance with the complaint register. This includes coordinating any necessary job work or machining required to complete engine assembly. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing Field Service Reports (FSR) upon resolving complaints, obtaining customer feedback on FSR, and reporting to the relevant service in-charge. Your duties will also involve servicing engines based on breakdowns, installation checks, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), and survey reports. You will need to identify spare parts required for overhauling engines and generate inquiries for DG sets, RECD, and AMCs. Educating customers about genuine spares and services will be a key aspect of this role. Some of the specific activities you will be engaged in include attending complaints within the Service Level Agreement (SLA), replacing parts/spares as per scheduled service maintenance, understanding and resolving customer grievances, providing basic training on DOs and DON'Ts to customers, offering information about new products or services, and maintaining good relationships with customers.
