Job Description

The Farmer is responsible for cultivating crops and/or raising livestock to provide food, raw materials, and other agricultural products. This role involves hands-on work in fields, barns, and machinery operation to ensure productive and sustainable farming practices. Prepare land for planting by tilling, plowing, and fertilizing. Sow seeds, plant crops, and transplant seedlings. Monitor crop growth and apply irrigation, fertilizer, and pesticides as needed. Harvest crops manually or with machinery. Raise and care for livestock, including feeding, watering, and health monitoring. Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure. Follow sustainable and environmentally sound farming practices. Maintain records of production, expenses, and sales. Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
