JOB DESCRIPTION -: Testing engineer/ Technical executive

Location: Zirakpur, Derabassi Punjab

Experience: Fresher/experienced (B-tech mechanical)/M-tech mechanical)

Job Type: Full-Time

Department:- Testing Lab

Salary: Depends upon interview

Working days: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday) Working hours:9:30am to 6:00pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduate to join our team as a Lab Testing Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a wide range of mechanical tests on materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality, performance, and reliability standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, hands-on experience with testing equipment, meticulous data analysis, and a commitment to maintaining high laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understanding of Mechanical Systems: Familiarity with mechanical systems, components, and principles.

2. Materials Science: Knowledge of materials properties, testing methods, and applications.

3. Testing and Inspection: Understanding of testing methods, including destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT).

4. Data Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from testing and experimentation.

5. Familiarity with Testing Equipment: Knowledge of testing equipment, such as universal testing machines, hardness testers, and impact testers.

6. Quality Control: Understanding of quality control principles and procedures.

7. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues in testing and experimentation.

8. Type of Test:- Types of tests may include (but are not limited to): PPE ( Personal Protective equipment )Tensile strength, Compression strength, Hardness, Impact, Abrasion, Vibration, Durability, Environmental (temperature, humidity, corrosion), and Functionality tests.

Quality & Compliance:

 Strictly adhere to laboratory safety procedures, quality management system (QMS) protocols (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025 principles), and industry best practices.

 Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

 Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained as per schedule.

 Knowledge of MS Office, or relevant tools
