We are currently seeking a Diploma Mechanical Engineer with experience in purchasing and procurement to support our operations in Vadodara.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of mechanical materials, tools, and components.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality purchases.
• Issue and track purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and resolve vendor-related issues.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with the stores and accounts team.
• Assist project/site teams with material planning and requisition.
• Keep accurate records of all procurement and vendor interactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing/procurement in a mechanical or engineering environment.
• Skills:
• Understanding of mechanical materials, machine parts, and vendor sourcing.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic ERP or procurement tools.
• Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail.
