Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Controlling Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Support the consolidation of financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting. Perform and communicate variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Ensure consistent and matching mapping between budget and actual reporting. Prepare the material for the business review (BU internal and Group). Budgeting & Forecasting Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Proactively coordinate the process to ensure completion until the set deadlines. Partner with and support the functional managers in the planning process and analysis. Assist in scenario analysis and financial planning to support business strategy. Performance Monitoring & Analysis Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide insights. Track and analyze key financial metrics such as revenue, cost structures, and margins. Assist in CAPEX monitoring and investment analysis. Support business units with financial data and insights to enhance decision-making. Partner with each P&L owner in developing and reporting relevant set of underlying KPI’s Based Group reporting system, develop tailored reports for the BU Process Improvement & Compliance Contribute to financial process improvements and standardization across the group. Continuously develop and optimize the BU’s budgeting tools and process Develop relevant KPI’s and analysis specifically to the BU’s business demand Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations. Assist in audit processes by preparing financial data and documentation. As an Accounts Controller at the plant, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting. Your role is crucial in implementing effective cost tracking systems, coordinating inventory and product management, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Additionally, you will support day-to-day operations, including invoice processing, disbursements, and by-product sales, while maintaining compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. Your main tasks will include: - Engaging in cost and budget control activities in collaboration with your line manager. - Participating in the development of costing systems for the plant, including designing documents and information flows, cost tracking and reporting, and cost analysis. - Supporting the control and reporting of daily product deliveries to customers and assisting with invoice processing. - Ensuring that inventory and product management systems are functioning well at the plant and intermediary stores. - Coordinating periodic inventory takings at the plant and intermediary stores with the guidance of your line manager. - Submitting regular cost and management reports to the local CFO or line manager on time. - Communicating with suppliers, authorities, and service providers as needed. - Ensuring malt delivery records match weight bridge data and reporting any issues. - Overseeing by-product sales and coordinating with the treasury. - Supporting plant operations in production, delivery, and inventory. - Assisting with financial reporting, reconciliations, and closing tasks. - Helping with the preparation of annual budgets and budget follow-ups. - Providing cost data for inventory valuation. - Supporting daily purchasing activities for barley and other materials. - Working with all teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. - 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling and accounting. - Accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. - Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes. - Understanding of financial analysis and insights with the business. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. - Fluency in spoken and written English.
