ASSISTANT LAB TECHNICIAN

• Collect and prepare samples of barley, malt, by-products, and other materials.

• Conduct basic quality tests and record results accurately.

• Manage sample storage, retention, and disposal as per policy.

• Keep laboratory areas and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.

• Monitor pest traps weekly and report findings.

• Support continuous improvement and other lab-related tasks as assigned.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

• Promote sustainable practices and efficient use of energy and resources.

• Participate in maintaining and improving Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.

• Qualifications: BSc degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 0+ years

• Knowledge: Awareness of HACCP, food hygiene, and quality standards.

• Skills: Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Language / IT: Professional proficiency in English; competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
