Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and demonstrate proficiency in various engineering tools and methodologies. This role involves designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in existing designs and implement effective solutions.
• Create detailed schematics and drafting documentation in compliance with ASME codes & standards.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system automation and control.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity under various conditions.
• Engage in project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and enhance product quality.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical design principles, including GD&T, to ensure precision in engineering outputs.
• Utilize MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, Arduino, and CNC programming for system design and testing.
• Participate in the development of quantum engineering projects as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 + year experience in M.E.
• 10+ year experience in B.E. of Heavy Structure , Fabrication,& erection.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical engineering applications.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo) and familiarity with drafting techniques.
• Experience with project scheduling tools and methodologies.
• Understanding of root cause analysis techniques for troubleshooting mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in automation.
• Familiarity with ASME codes & standards relevant to mechanical design.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
