Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Draughtsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draughtsman for a Fixed-Term Contract to support

mechanical design and drafting activities in EPC projects. The ideal candidate will have

experience in preparing detailed mechanical drawings, piping layouts, equipment layouts, and

fabrication drawings in accordance with engineering standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and revise detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD,
SolidWorks, or other CAD tools.
Develop equipment layouts, piping GA drawings, isometric drawings, and
fabrication drawings.
Support the engineering team in creating and updating BOMs (Bill of Materials) and as-
built drawings.
Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation) to
ensure design consistency.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry codes (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.) and project-
specific standards.
Participate in model reviews and design coordination meetings.
Maintain proper document control in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications:

Diploma/ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
8–10 years of experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in the EPC industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or Plant 3D / PDMS / E3D is preferred.
Familiarity with piping, static & rotary equipment, and fabrication drawings.
Good understanding of international design codes and standards.
Ability to read and interpret P& IDs, equipment datasheets, and technical drawings.
