Role Description

The Mechanical Draftsman will play a key role in creating detailed technical drawings and designs for mechanical systems and components used in membrane-based solutions. Daily responsibilities will include collaborating with engineers to create 2D and 3D CAD drawings, generating bills of materials, and reviewing designs to ensure adherence to specifications and guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Drawings like P&ID, General Arrangement Drawings & Layout, Foundation Drg.
• Preparation on Piping Isometrics.
• Preparation of Equipment Drawings like Pressure Vessels, storage tank, etc.
• Preparation of Structural / Skid Details Drawing based on detail specifications & equipment’s.
• Preparation of various drawings of Electrical/Instruments, wiring diagram, etc.
• Development of Equipment Layout.
• Knowledge about ASME and Other international standard for drafting.
• Modification of existing drawings under the guidance of design engineers.
• Preparation of As built Drawing based on actual plant at site & workshop drawings
• Develop processes to help support our team growth.
• Help resolve engineering issues as they arise by working closely with the engineering team, vendors,  

and the shop.

Qualifications:

• Solid Works design experience.
• AutoCAD Mechanical design experience
• Experience in mechanical design either in design or installation/construction.
• Strong technical drawing skills, especially in 3D modeling.
• Extremely computer literate with MS Office products.
• Ability to produce fabrication/welding/assembly drawings from 3D model efficiently.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
