Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 3D Modeling & 2D Drafting Create and modify detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using Siemens Solid Edge. Ensure all drawings meet dimensional accuracy, GD&T standards, and company drafting practices. Design Development Develop mechanical equipment, tanks, frames, enclosures, and assemblies as per project requirements. Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and exploded views. Support design optimization for manufacturability, assembly, and cost reduction. Project Documentation Maintain and update design documentation, revision control, and drawing release records. Prepare technical data sheets and coordinate with production for design implementation. Design Standards & Compliance Follow ASME / ISO / company-specific standards for fabrication and drawing formats. Ensure compliance with safety and engineering design norms. Change Management Implement and document engineering change requests (ECRs / ECNs) in line with company procedures. Technical Support Provide support during manufacturing, assembly, and installation phases to ensure design intent is met. Troubleshoot and propose design improvements based on feedback. Preferred Skills: Strong proficiency in Solid Edge (Part, Assembly, Drafting, and Sheet Metal modules). Knowledge of fabrication processes, welded structures, and mechanical assemblies. Understanding of stainless steel material and fabrication process.. Familiarity with GD&T, P&ID, and basic mechanical design calculations.
