This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators business in Vadodara, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Being responsible to process orders in engineering department meeting customer specifications and ABB standards.
• Being responsible to deliver customer documentation, Bill of materials and all required manufacturing or procurement specifications on time and with good quality using ABB tools.
• Co-ordinating with other stake holders to ensure smooth order processing and provide technical support to other departments whenever required.
• Adhering to ABB code of conduct, integrity and practice the same.

Qualifications for the role

• Professional degree in Mechanical Design Engineer (B Tech)

• Relevant experience (3-4 years) in motors or generators design environment preferred

• Must know basics of Mechanical design of rotating electrical machines (motors and generators)

• Having hands on experience of 2D, 3D modeling and drafting software's (AutoCAD and Unigraphics preferred)

• Knowledge of ERP software like SAP preferred.
