We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Material Purchase & Management Professional to oversee procurement, inventory, and vendor coordination for construction materials and concrete elements. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality procurement aligned with project requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, source, and procure construction materials, including cement, steel, aggregates, admixtures, sand, concrete elements, and related raw materials.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain approved vendor lists and establish long-term supplier relationships.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders based on material requirements and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and store departments to forecast and plan material needs.
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct inventory audits, and ensure optimal material availability.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and manage vendor documentation, invoices, and delivery records.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards during material handling and procurement.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement reports, cost analyses, and material usage data.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 3–7 years of experience in material procurement / store management / purchase operations in the construction or precast / concrete elements industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, sourcing, quality standards, and logistics management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and inventory software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • This job is for either of the 2 locations - a.) Spartek Group Tirupati Manufacturing Plant b.) Spartek Group Precast Plant, Gudapakkam, Poonamallee - Tirupati Highway

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in precast concrete, ready-mix concrete (RMC), or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with ISO / QAQC standards and project material documentation.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to handle multiple project demands.
