Material Planning Engineer

DEPARTMENT : PLANNING

DESIGNATION : Engineer –Material planning

ROLE DEFINITION: Responsible for Planning activities especially Material planning and Outsourcing

REPORTING To : GM –Operations

REPORTEES : Engineers and Supervisors

RESPONSIBILITIES

• BOM preparation from Drg /spec
• Material intent preparation in consultation with production
• Cutting plan preparation /nesting
• Development drg preparation and Coordination with laser cutting / bending
• Coordination with Purchase ,Stores , production and outsourcing company
• Material planning as per prodn / agreed sch
• Documentation as per requirements / ISO 9001 :2015
• Maintaining the documents with traceability for easy retrieval
• Preparation of MIS reports for Management review

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Material arrangement in time as per sch
• Zero complaints on materials
• Timely submission of Documents
• No Major Nonconformance in Internal / External Audit

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

BE / B.TECH – Mechanical Engineering with Min 5 years experience in equipment fabrication industries

DME with 10 years experience

• Thorough Knowledge and experience in Drgs and material specification
• Knowledge and experience in Equipment fabrication and its sequence / process(s)
• Knowledge in preparation of cutting plan and nesting
• Must have experience in CAD
• MS –office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
