Job Title:

Position Summary

The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and governing accurate master data across Navision and other manufacturing systems. This role supports global supply chain, manufacturing, and finance operations by ensuring data integrity, standardization, and compliance with global master data policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and process master data creation and change requests within defined SLAs
  • Create and update master data in Navision and other manufacturing systems following global standards
  • Ensure consistent application of master data rules, governance, and validation checks
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Manufacturing systems including Navision, SAP, Ariba, and related platforms
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and correct inaccurate or incomplete master data records
  • Define, document, and maintain master data standards and operating procedures
  • Ensure adherence to Global Master Data policies and governance frameworks
  • Identify process gaps and recommend automation or workflow optimization initiatives
  • Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and checklists
  • Support internal and external audits related to master data

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 – 7 years of hands-on experience

    in Master Data Management, Power Bi, Macros, Pricing etc preferably in manufacturing or supply chain environments
  • Strong experience working with ERP systems (Navision mandatory; SAP and/or Ariba preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOM) and component structures
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with global stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Experience working in a Global Business Services (GBS) or shared services environment
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and master data best practices
  • Exposure to process automation, workflow tools, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer-focused approach
