Marketplace Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and communicative person who can acquire and onboard vendors (craftsmen, manufacturers, small brands, etc.), coordinate with the website team, and help build early traction through outreach and social media connections.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Outreach & Acquisition

• Call and connect with potential vendors, explain the marketplace benefits, and onboard them.
• Collect and verify vendor data (product lists, images, pricing, company info).
• Maintain vendor database and upload details on the website backend or Excel sheet.

2. Coordination with Development Team

• Liaise with the website development team to convey vendor needs or issues.
• Suggest improvements for the vendor dashboard, listings, and marketplace usability.
• Test and verify updates or new features related to vendor management.

3. Social Media & Communication

• Connect with potential vendors via Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.
• Send personalized messages or posts to attract small sellers and artisans.
• Handle follow-ups and maintain active communication with interested vendors.

Skills Required

• Excellent communication skills (Hindi & English)
• Confident on phone and social media outreach
• Basic computer and Excel skills
• Familiarity with e-commerce or marketplaces (Amazon, Etsy, Meesho, etc.) preferred
• Coordination and reporting ability

Bonus Skills (Preferred)

• Experience in vendor onboarding or data entry for marketplaces
• Understanding of product uploads (images, descriptions, pricing)
• Coordination experience with tech or web teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
