About the RoleWe are looking for a strategic and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the promotional campaigns for our upcoming B2B trade shows. The ideal candidate understands the nuances of the exhibition industry and can execute a 360-degree marketing strategy that drives booth sales (exhibitor acquisition) and ensures high attendance of qualified buyers (visitor promotion). Key Responsibilities 1. Strategy & Planning Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the exhibition lifecycle (pre-show, on-site, and post-show). Define buyer personas and target audiences to ensure high-quality visitor footfall. Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently across digital, print, and partnership channels. 2. Visitor Promotion (Audience Acquisition) Lead the "Visitor Promotion" campaign to attract target buyers, dealers, distributors, and industry professionals. Execute email marketing campaigns (newsletters, personalized invites) using segmented databases. Manage paid performance marketing (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta) to generate visitor registrations. Collaborate with associations and trade bodies to secure delegation visits. 3. Exhibitor Marketing Support Create sales collateral (brochures, pitch decks, floor plans) to support the sales team in booking booths. Develop "Exhibitor Manuals" and marketing toolkits to help confirmed exhibitors promote their participation. Manage lead generation campaigns to identify potential new exhibitors. 4. Content & Digital Presence Manage the event website, ensuring SEO optimization and an intuitive registration flow. Oversee social media strategy (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram) to build community and engagement. Produce high-quality content including press releases, blog posts, and industry reports. 5. Partnerships & PR Negotiate barter deals with media partners, trade magazines, and industry influencers. Coordinate with PR agencies to ensure maximum press coverage before and during the event. RequirementsExperience: 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2–3 years specifically in Events, Exhibitions, or B2B Media. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business (MBA preferred). Skills: Strong understanding of Visitor Promotion tactics. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Email Marketing software. Experience with Digital Marketing (SEO, SEM, Social Media ads). Excellent copywriting and communication skills. Personality: Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines typical of the event industry. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Total number of unique visitor registrations. Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) for visitors. Number of qualified exhibitor leads generated for the sales team. Social media engagement and website traffic growth.
