Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Packaging Design Conceptualize and design premium primary and secondary packaging for perfumes, skincare, and cosmetics (bottles, jars, tubes, outer boxes, discovery kits, gift sets). Develop dielines, mockups, and 3D renders to visualize packaging concepts. Ensure packaging reflects the brand’s luxury identity, sustainability ethos, and functional ease (refill systems, travel-friendly designs, etc.). Collaborate with vendors for material selection (glass, rigid boxes, metallic foils, embossing, UV finishes). Conduct quality checks to ensure final product matches design intent. 2. Brand Identity & Visual Language Create and maintain consistent brand identity across all touchpoints (logos, typography, color palettes, patterns, label design, POSM). Work closely with marketing to align design aesthetics with campaigns, digital assets, and influencer collaterals. Develop brand books, design guidelines, and visual style references. Localize brand design to resonate with global and regional audiences while preserving core identity. 3. Trend & Market Research Track global beauty and fragrance packaging trends (luxury, niche, bridge-luxury). Benchmark against competitors (Chanel, Dior, Jo Malone, Byredo, Ajmal, etc.) to create differentiated positioning. Explore innovative design technologies (holographic foiling, AR-linked packaging, eco-friendly materials). 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product development, marketing, and operations teams for cohesive go-to-market strategies. Liaise with manufacturers, printers, and packaging suppliers to ensure feasibility, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Assist sales and e-commerce teams with packaging visuals for catalogs, listings, and retail displays. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Packaging Technology, or related field. 4–8 years of proven experience in packaging and brand design (preferably in perfumes, cosmetics, or luxury goods). Strong portfolio showcasing creative packaging projects and luxury branding. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), 3D rendering tools (KeyShot, Blender, Cinema4D), and dieline creation. Knowledge of printing techniques, materials, and finishing processes. Understanding of consumer psychology and luxury aesthetics. Strong project management and vendor coordination skills.
