Job Description: Marketing Executive (Chitosan Industrial Applications)

Position: Marketing Executive (Entry-Level)

Location: Malad, Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: Fresh Graduate (Science background preferred)

Role Overview

The selected candidate will play a key role in business development and marketing of Chitosan across multiple industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a science graduate interested in exploring commercial, technical, and application-oriented aspects of biopolymers while developing a career in industrial marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential industries and customers for Chitosan applications.

• Assist in preparing marketing materials, technical presentations, and proposals.

• Support customer outreach through emails, calls, and in-person meetings.

• Coordinate with the technical team for customer trials, product demonstrations, and application support.

• Maintain a database of leads, inquiries, and customer interactions.

• Participate in trade shows, industry exhibitions, and seminars.

• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and new applications of Chitosan.

• Provide regular reports and feedback to management on progress and opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related fields.

• Strong interest in industrial applications of biotechnology / polymers / specialty chemicals.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to learn technical aspects and apply them in marketing.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Openness to travel for customer visits and industry events.
