Job Description – Marketing Executive (BTL & Field Marketing)

Locations: Durgapur, Asansol, Raniganj
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month + up to ₹5,000 performance incentive
Requirement: Own bike & valid driving licence (mandatory)
Position OverviewApnaMart is looking for energetic Marketing Executives to drive local branding, customer footfall and sales through BTL activities, field marketing and competitor study around our stores.
Key Responsibilities1. BTL & Field Marketing Activities
Plan and execute BTL campaigns around ApnaMart stores (canopy activity, leaflet distribution, society/market activations, announcements, etc.).
Conduct residential, market and corporate area visits to promote ApnaMart offers.
Support new store launches with on-ground promotions and branding.
Coordinate with vendors/printing partners for banners, standees, posters, leaflets etc.
2. Competitor Study & Market Intelligence
Regularly visit competitor stores and marketplaces to track:
Pricing & offers
In-store branding and promotions
Customer footfall and service
Prepare simple competitor and market reports and share inputs with the Marketing/Operations team.
3. Customer Engagement & Lead Generation
Interact with customers in catchment areas to create awareness about ApnaMart stores and offers.
Collect customer data (mobile numbers, feedback) for WhatsApp/SMS marketing.
Support local partnerships/tie-ups (housing societies, offices, small businesses, etc.).
4. Reporting & Coordination
Maintain daily activity reports (DAR) – areas covered, activities done, leads generated.
Share photos and basic MIS for every activity.
Coordinate with Store Managers and Area Managers for planning and execution.
Eligibility & SkillsEducation: Minimum 12th pass; Graduates preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years; experience in retail/FMCG/field sales/BTL marketing preferred.
Must have:
Own bike and valid two-wheeler licence
Smartphone for navigation, photos, calls & reporting
Strong communication skills (local language + basic Hindi/English).
Comfortable with field work and travel within city/nearby areas.
Energetic, presentable, and willing to work on targets & incentives.
Compensation & BenefitsFixed Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on profile & location).
Incentives: Up to ₹5,000 per month based on performance & targets.
