This job directly reports to the MD and is for an inside entrepreneur to take charge of the marketing function of the Company; someone who uses entrepreneurial skills to manage, develop and grow the market of Company.
This job is about taking over the marketing function from the founder entrepreneur who has grown the Company to its present position, with his mentoring leaving him free for business expansion & product development.
Fluidtherm Design & Development P. Ltd is a meritocracy which engages in research, design, manufacture & commissioning of Industrial furnaces primarily for the Heat Treatment & Powder Metallurgy industry . We have a presence apart from India, in

Leveraging our reputation and strengths we have started offering products which find use in several other Indian & overseas markets in an effort to raise our annual turnover from the present approx. Rs 30 Cr to Rs 100 Cr; this being a modest target given our product range, the size of the market & the reach of digital marketing.
The marketing manager is expected to bring both management & entrepreneurial talent to achieve this sooner than later (under 3 years).
· Create & lead a high-performing & lean marketing function.
· Recognize latent opportunities that are attractive to the Company
· Manage the marketing function including appointment of sales engineers & agents in India & overseas.
· Manage the digital marketing function; create and maintain on-line presence, manage & update all Company websites and create technical & marketing content on a regular basis.
· Work closely with the engineering group to develop the best technical solution for customers
· Instill a spirit of continuous improvement in all spheres of activity
· Mental acuity & alertness: clear thinking without brain fog.
· Energy & enthusiastic willingness to travel to chase down every opportunity
· Strong contract ‘closing’ ability
· Last mile implementation skills to make all efforts count.
· Knowledge of the fundamentals of thermal process equipment
· Proficiency in basic material science, heat treatment technology & powdered metal technology.
· Proficiency in technical & commercial negotiations
· Familiarity with the fundamentals of the Indian Contract Act.
· Sixth sense threat & opportunity recognition
· Continuous updating of industry trends & opportunities
· Author level expertise of writing in English
· Ability to make attention grabbing presentations
· Ability to read & make modifications to CAD & Solidworks drawings.
· Knowledge of how CFD Tools like Ansys are made & interpreted
· Clear minded ability to see & explain solutions to complex technical problems.
· Proficiency in international etiquette, culture sensitivity & egalitarian interaction with overseas colleagues, customers & suppliers.
· 9-18 years of extensive hands-on marketing of capital equipment
· High level of fluency in written & spoken English & conversational skills in Hindi.
· Knowledge of metallurgical processes like heat treatment, brazing & powder metallurgy
