Marketing and Business Development Renewable

As a key contributor to driving the marketing initiatives for Ovation DCS in India and the Southeast Asia Power and Water market, your role involves strengthening Emerson's position in the Renewable power generation market with Ovation Green offerings. Your primary responsibility is the Business Development of Ovation Green SCADA offerings in the Solar, Wind, BESS, and Hybrid Power market in Asia Pacific. This requires close collaboration with in-country sales teams for business growth and working with the Proposal and Operation team to develop solutions in the renewable space. Your responsibilities in this role include: - Building Marketing Strategy, Communications, and Promotional programs to enhance brand awareness, drive demand, and support overall business objectives - Executing agreed-upon marketing plans and campaigns - Driving market penetration in Renewables Power and converting SCADA opportunities into orders by working closely with Sales - Preparing winnable SCADA solutions for the renewable power market in coordination with Sales and Proposals - Developing Key accounts in Solar, Wind, BESS, and Hybrid Power - Coordinating and supporting PWS marketing activities in India and Southeast Asia to generate leads and follow-up - Finalizing the agenda for Marketing Events, user conferences, trade shows, seminars, etc. - Maintaining and upgrading Ovation DCS and Ovation Green SCADA demo systems for customer demonstrations - Preparing presentation content and coordinating presentations for internal & external customers - Training sales/proposal groups on new product releases - Studying competitors" technical offerings and keeping abreast of the latest trends for analysis - Creating content on power business scenarios, market share, and trends - Defining and coordinating the launch of new products by working closely with Communications and other Marketing groups - Writing technical papers/articles for magazines on Power & Water solutions - Preparing messaging for value-based technical selling and budgets You will need: - Minimum 7 years" experience in DCS or SCADA in the Power or Renewable Power industry, with at least 3 years in Marketing/Business Development/Sales Support roles - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent. MBA will be an advantage - Detailed knowledge of DCS and SCADA solutions for Power and Renewable Power Industry - Value-based Selling Skills and ability to build trust with customers - Strong communication and presentation skills - Analytical and Business Writing Skills Preferred qualifications include: - Previous work experience in DCS or SCADA in the Power or Renewable Power industry, with a minimum of 5 years in Marketing/Business Development/Sales Support roles At Emerson, you will find a workplace culture that values every employee, fosters innovation, collaboration, and diverse perspectives.
