Job Description

Role Overview: As a key contributor to driving marketing initiatives for Ovation DCS in India and the Southeast Asia Power and Water market, you will be responsible for business development of Ovation Green SCADA offerings in the Solar, Wind, BESS, and Hybrid Power market in Asia Pacific. Your role will involve working with in-country sales teams for business growth and collaborating with Proposal and Operation teams to develop solutions in the renewable space. Key Responsibilities: - Build marketing strategy, communications, and promotional programs to enhance brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, drive demand, and support overall business objectives. - Execute agreed-upon marketing plans and campaigns. - Drive market penetration in Renewables Power and collaborate with Sales to convert SCADA opportunities into orders. - Work with Sales and Proposals to prepare winnable SCADA solutions for the renewable power market. - Develop key accounts in Solar, Wind, BESS, and Hybrid Power. - Coordinate and support PWS marketing activities in India and Southeast Asia, including user group conferences, industry events, trade shows, customer events, seminars, etc., to generate leads and follow up. - Finalize the agenda for marketing events, user conferences, trade shows, seminars, etc. - Maintain and upgrade Ovation DCS and Ovation Green SCADA demo systems, along with demonstration offerings using hardware and virtual demo systems for customers. - Prepare presentation content and coordinate presentations on offerings to internal and external customers. - Coordinate training of sales/proposal groups on new product releases. - Study competitors" technical offerings, conduct comparisons with Ovation, and analyze the competition landscape. - Prepare content on power business scenarios, market share, market trends, and create new product/feature brochures, newsletters, press releases, and data sheets. - Define and coordinate the launch of new and enhanced products by collaborating closely with Communications and other Marketing groups. - Write technical papers/articles for magazines on Power & Water solutions and the latest offerings, and prepare messaging for value-based technical selling and budgets. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years" experience in DCS or SCADA in the Power or Renewable Power industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing/Business Development/Sales Support (Solution Architect)/Sales roles. - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent experience; an MBA will be an advantage. - Detailed knowledge of DCS and SCADA solutions for the Power and Renewable Power Industry to enable efficient solutions. - Value-based selling skills, approach, and proficiency in building trust with customers. - Ability to set meaningful goals and establish action plans for reaching these goals. - Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak clearly and confidently, as well as analytical and business writing skills.
