Job Description

The Impact You'll Make

Engineer Manufacturing would be responsible for development of new manufacturing methods and process improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

Lead cost reduction projects and value analysis to reduce labor and burden costs. Experience with tool and machine design to support the project work.
Own, prepare, and maintain all production standard work and production documentation, conduct annual FMEA reviews.
Utilize Continuous Improvement Framework Tool to drive continuous improvements. Develop, maintain, and improve plant/work cell layouts.
Familiar with automation techniques, including feeders, sensors, hydraulics & pneumatics
Ensure that process improvements are accurately reflected in product costs and labor and material standards.
Evaluate production scrap and customer returns for root cause and corrective actions, utilizing formal problem-solving tools such as 8D analysis, PFMEA’s, Control plans, etc., implementing changes for corrective actions and being able to tie this analysis back to operations standard work and product documentation.
Support new product/process development.
Analyses manufacturing data, identifying adverse conditions, and makes recommendations for improvement.
