Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

As an Engineer Manufacturing, you will be responsible for developing new manufacturing methods and driving process improvement initiatives. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include leading cost reduction projects, conducting value analysis to decrease labor and burden costs, and utilizing your experience in tool and machine design to support project work. You will be expected to own, prepare, and maintain all production standard work and documentation, as well as conduct annual FMEA reviews. Using Continuous Improvement Framework Tools, you will drive continuous enhancements, develop and enhance plant/work cell layouts, and demonstrate proficiency in automation techniques such as feeders, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Furthermore, you will ensure that process improvements are accurately reflected in product costs and labor standards, evaluate production scrap and customer returns for root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions using formal problem-solving tools. Supporting new product and process development, analyzing manufacturing data, and making recommendations for improvement will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.E/DME degree with 8 to 15 years of experience. Specialized knowledge of manufacturing processes and a must-have knowledge of hydraulics systems are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, comprehensive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a challenging environment are essential attributes.
