Role Overview

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer who is detail-driven, analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality products. You will be responsible for manual testing, API testing, and database testing to ensure seamless user experiences across our web and mobile platforms. This is a high-ownership role where you will work closely with product, tech, and operations teams to build scalable and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, document, and execute test cases, scenarios, and plans for web, mobile, and backend applications.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger, validating request/response payloads and integration flows.
Perform database testing by writing SQL queries to validate data integrity and consistency.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Log and track bugs using tools such as Jira or similar, ensuring timely closure.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure clarity of requirements and testability.
Provide QA sign-offs during releases and deployments.
Contribute to building scalable QA processes, documentation, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of experience in Manual QA, with exposure to API and database testing.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
Good understanding of databases with ability to write SQL queries.
Experience testing web and mobile applications.
Proficient with bug tracking/project management tools (Jira, Trello, or similar).
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
