Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for partnership and relationship management with US stakeholders. Your role will involve driving and creating a culture of process excellence within the Finance shared services team, aiming to become best-in-class. Additionally, you will help build and manage a high-performing team that can support organic and acquisition growth. Your responsibilities will include managing process transitions, supporting US Accounting, Statutory Compliance, and Corporate Tax service delivery, mentoring team members, and developing 2nd line leaders. You will also be tasked with managing the finance team to ensure standard month-end close, accurate reporting of financial information, GL reconciliation, and exception management. Key Responsibilities: - Function as a business partner to operational leaders and key stakeholders across the Company, including Sourcing/Purchasing, Treasury, and General Ledger. - Manage process improvements to optimize end-to-end processes. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure shared services performance and identify process improvement opportunities. - Maintain operating discipline in terms of capacity utilization, SLA adherence, reporting, and KPI tracking. - Drive the use of process automation and expand reporting and analytics capabilities using tools like Oracle Financial Data Intelligence (FDI). - Ensure controls and policy adherence, supporting internal and external audits. - Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting, analytics, and audits. - Ensure proper segregation of duties (SOD) for process control. - Cross-train teams in processes and implement Business Continuity Plans. - Maintain and interpret data to provide insights. - Resolve service disputes and uphold company policies and procedures. - Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, CA/CMA Intermediate. - Strong presentation and advanced Excel skills. - 12-15 years of experience managing GL/R2R processes and teams. - Experience in GCC/3rd Party is preferable. - Experience in transitioning work to India from other countries. - Experience in managing entire R2R processes, including reporting, statutory audit, and filings. - Self-starter with collaborative skills and the ability to challenge the status quo. - Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion Cloud, and Financial Analytics Warehouse (FAW) preferred. - Strong proficiency in enforcing financial and accounting controls. - Strong analytical, critical thinking skills, curiosity, and passion for process improvement. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
