Job Description

A Training and Placement Officer is responsible for facilitating the career development and job placement of UAI students. He/She should involve in establishing industry connections, organizing placement drives, providing career guidance, and conducting training programs to enhance employability. The TPO acts as a bridge between the educational institution and the professional world, ensuring students are well-prepared for their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Engagement:
Building and maintaining relationships with companies and organizations to identify job opportunities and facilitate recruitment activities.
Placement Drives and Recruitment:
Organizing and coordinating on-campus and off-campus placement drives, job fairs, and interviews.
Career Counseling and Guidance:
Providing students with career advice, resume building support, interview preparation, and guidance on career choices.
Training Programs:
Conducting training sessions on soft skills, communication, and interview techniques to improve students employability.
Internship Coordination:
Facilitating internship opportunities for students to gain practical experience.
Job Listings and Application Support:
Maintaining a database of job openings and providing assistance to students in their job search.
Record Keeping and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate placement records and statistics for reporting and promotional purposes.
Alumni Engagement:
Connecting with alumni to leverage their experience and network for student placements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry partners.
Knowledge of current industry trends and job market demands.
Proficiency in using technology for job postings, data management, and communication.
Ability to provide career counseling and guidance to students.
