Manager Supply Chain Management

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources necessary for establishing an effective supply chain. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and supplies at company locations, sites, and the factory warehouse. Your role will involve ensuring the required quantity of supplies and materials is maintained to optimize production reorder levels. By analyzing current inventories and procedures, you will suggest improvements to increase supply chain efficiency and enhance the company's profitability. Developing policies to enhance efficiency while upholding quality and safety standards will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Identifying optimal shipment and transportation routes, focusing on warehousing and distribution consolidation, will be crucial in streamlining operations. You will assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing, making recommendations to facilitate efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials. Negotiating prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners will be an essential part of your duties. Additionally, you will participate as an advisory member of the product development team, offering insights on supply and material availability and cost. Monitoring supplier performance, evaluating their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements, and identifying new suppliers in collaboration with other departments will be important tasks. You will analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and address any issues that arise, such as delays or accidents. Monitoring logistics operations to ensure smooth functionality, evaluating and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), and resolving supply chain-related issues are integral parts of this role. Implementing safety guidelines across all aspects of the supply chain, including the use of trucks and forklifts, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and standards will be essential. Furthermore, you will conduct analysis on slow-moving and obsolete stock, providing recommendations for replenishing stock to maintain optimal inventory levels.,
