Manager Supply Chain Management

As the Manager of Supply Chain Management (Solar Procurement) in Noida, you will be responsible for anchoring the strategic and operational sourcing for Solar, Bid Support, contract management, and supplier management. You will work closely with the General Manager of Supply Chain Management, Asset Management team, vendors, and partners. Role Overview: - Your role will involve identifying suitable vendors and procuring solar-specific equipment and consumables essential for plant functionality such as modules, panels, inverters, trackers, CSP mirrors, cabling, spare parts, specialized tools, and PPEs. - You will be responsible for identifying and managing service providers specialized in solar plant O&M, appointing vendors for tasks like regular cleaning, inspection, repair, and technical support for both PV and CSP plants. - Overseeing the PR to PO process, ensuring adherence to the organizational P2P policy, and maintaining optimal TAT for PR-PO transactions. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure reliable procurement channels and consistent quality. - Developing cost-effective procurement strategies, negotiating competitive prices, exploring alternate suppliers, and ensuring optimal terms and conditions in favor of the company. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, effectively communicating with Asset Management and site teams to align procurement strategies with project objectives. - Developing and maintaining detailed MIS reports for the solar function to track procurement status, including budget versus actual expenditure analysis, offers status, and procurement progress updates. Key Responsibilities: - Identify vendors and procure solar-specific equipment and consumables. - Manage service providers specialized in solar plant O&M. - Oversee PR to PO processes and approvals. - Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers. - Develop cost-effective procurement strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Prepare detailed MIS reports for solar function. Qualifications Required: - B. Tech / BE in Electrical with 7-9 years of experience. - Strategic sourcing of supply and services in Renewables O&M. - Experience in negotiations and end-to-end procurement processes. - Working knowledge of SAP & Maximo. - Market analysis, tendering, bidding, and cost estimation experience to ensure competitive pricing and strategic project procurement.
