Manager – Category Growth & Marketing, Swiggy Instamart
Your Role In Instamart
We are looking at a strong category growth marketer to aid in category growth initiatives for Swiggy Instamart. The individual will own and design the end-to-end customer initiatives ranging from category marketing to building regional/national events for the concerned categories.
Responsibilities Include
- Take Charge of Category Marketing Initiatives: Design and deliver impactful marketing programs that elevates category’s presence and ignites customer enthusiasm towards the managed categories. Collaborate closely with central marketing to orchestrate cohesive, multi-platform campaigns spanning paid media, organic content, social engagement, app-based promotions, and beyond. Translate product strengths into compelling narratives that inspire trust and drive conversions.
- Lead with Drive and Teamwork : Join forces with buying, planning, and supporting departments to flawlessly bring growth strategies to life. Ensure alignment across merchandising, logistics, and operations, building a tightly integrated go-to-market strategy. Motivate cross-functional teams and tackle challenges with agility and determination.
- Fuel Growth with Analytics: Let data guide every decision. Track key category metrics, analyze buying behaviors, and assess campaign outcomes to maximize return on every initiative. Uncover untapped opportunities and run quick-fire pilots to discover promising new growth avenues. Foster an environment where experimentation and learning drive continuous improvemen
- Champion Customer Centricity: Immerse yourself in customer perspectives to pioneer offerings that address genuine needs and foster deep affinity for the brand. Architect customer retention and loyalty plans designed to encourage repeat engagement and sustained satisfaction. Harness NPS scores, direct feedback, and reviews to continuously optimize the end-to-end experience.
- Own Financial Results: Oversee the category’s growth marketing budgets and outcomes, managing resources with a focus on maximizing returns. Track performance indicators closely and enact swift adjustments to stay on target for category growth and profitability.
Desired Candidate
- The ideal candidate is innovative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused with great judgment, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to lead team members as well as work with a large number of cross-functional stakeholders.
- This person will have demonstrated skill with technical tools & processes through app management, digital marketing, advanced data analysis or other relevant merchandising experience.
- He/she has to be passionate, organized, and comfortable managing multiple cross-functional projects at once
- Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience
- Evidence of “strive for excellence” and a “bias for action” when time is tight and stakes are high
- A belief that consumers come first. Understanding of brand marketing, online consumer behavior, merchandising & product development.
- Comfort in working in a high-growth and high-performance team with a fast pace.
