Job Description

Role Overview

The Manager Registrar Office is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all administrative, academic, and student service activities under the purview of the Registrar s Office. The role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, smooth execution of academic processes, and effective liaison between academic departments, examination cells, and administrative units.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Administration

  • Supervise the maintenance and updating of student academic records.
  • Coordinate with academic departments for course registration, curriculum updates, and program changes.
  • Ensure timely issuance of transcripts, degrees, and certificates.

Examination & Evaluation Support

  • Assist the Controller of Examinations in scheduling and conducting examinations.
  • Monitor processes for mark sheet preparation, result declaration, and grade verification.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of examination records.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Maintain compliance with UGC and other statutory bodies regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies in coordination with the Registrar.

Student Services & Grievance Handling

  • Facilitate student-related processes including migration certificates, NOCs, and verifications.
  • Address student grievances related to academic records in a timely and professional manner.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Oversee the digitization and secure storage of student records.
  • Prepare MIS reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Office Management & Coordination

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Registrar s Office.
  • Train and guide office staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other administrative departments for smooth university operations.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor s degree (Master s preferred) in Education, Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in examination software and MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail with commitment to confidentiality.
