Manager Quality Medical Coding (Outpatient)

Role Overview: As a Manager Coding specializing in Outpatient Coding in the Quality department, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of 50+ Quality Analysts. Your role will involve creating an inspiring team environment, designing QA capacity planning, delegating tasks, ensuring quality control as per client SLA, and implementing the organization's Quality Management System. You will also be expected to monitor team performance, conduct audits, identify knowledge gaps, provide coaching, recognize high performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage a team of 50+ Quality Analysts - Create an inspiring team environment with open communication culture - Design QA capacity planning based on project requirements - Delegate tasks, set deadlines, and ensure quality control as per client SLA - Implement the organization's Quality Management System effectively - Monitor team performance, report on metrics, and conduct random audits - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on audit observations and develop action plans - Identify training needs, provide coaching to Quality Analysts, and resolve conflicts - Recognize high performance, reward accomplishments, and encourage creativity - Suggest and organize team building activities - Identify improvement opportunities and initiate action plans for enhancement Qualification Required: - At least 8 years of experience in Medical Coding business with expertise in Inpatient and Outpatient coding, Medical Coding guidelines, and techniques (ICD-10, CPT) - Strong knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology, Advanced Medical Terminology, Psychology, and Pharmacology - Proficient in using MS Office - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Leadership experience in managing medium to large-sized teams in training and Quality domains - CPC/CIC/COC/CSS certification - Graduate/Post Graduate in any stream (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
