Manager - Public Health Nutrition

• Contribute to design, planning, and roll-out of Swasth Kadam program.
• Ensure quality delivery of counselling, community engagement, and nutrition education activities.
• Support integration of learnings across projects for improved nutrition outcomes.
• Contribute strategic insights to proposal development.
• Work with cross functional teams such as product & innovation, technology and research for program improvement.
• Conduct field visits as per program plan in coordination with the team.
• Liaise with ICDS and Health Department officials at State and district levels for smooth engagement.
• Facilitate convergence with government schemes such as POSHAN, Abhiyaan, Anaemia Mukt Bharat, RMNCAH+N, SAM/MAM management.
• Participate in district/block review meetings, providing evidence-based insights.
• Oversee data-driven program monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems.
• Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of program indicators, and identify gaps for corrective action.
• Document best practices, success stories, and evidence for scale-up and advocacy.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for Swasth Kadam field staff and counsellors, frontline workers (AWWs, ASHAs, ANMs), as well as for NGO partners.
• Provide supportive supervision and mentoring across both government and NGO initiatives.
  

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of program implementation and maternal and child nutrition, with demonstrated experience in ICDS and Health Department programs.
• Ability to coordinate with government functionaries and build convergence across departments.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in data collection, interpretation, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, training, and facilitation skills.
• Passion for public health nutrition and improving child health outcomes.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (spoken and written) is essential for effective coordination with NGO partners,Government stakeholders, frontline workers, and communities.
• AYUSH Or Nursing graduate with Master’s in Nutrition, or Public Health Nutrition.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maternal and child nutrition programs, with direct engagement with ICDS and Health Department
