Purpose/Objective


    Executive - Airside Construction is responsible for performing specific tasks or projects related to the construction and maintenance of airport facilities. This role focuses on individual contributions to ensure that construction activities meet all applicable regulations and standards. The Executive also provides technical advice, conducts inspections, and supports the overall construction process.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Ground Level Implementation: Assist in monitoring and coordinating airside construction activities, ensuring timely execution of work schedules. Track project progress, maintain logs of daily activities, and escalate issues as needed. Support on-site supervision of contractors and vendors, ensuring that construction tasks meet the specified design and safety standards. Conduct regular checks to ensure alignment with technical specifications and project timelines. Ensure that the materials required for construction are procured, delivered, and stored correctly to prevent delays. Assist in inventory management for ongoing projects. Provide Technical Support: Provide technical suggestions and information on engineering matters by offering expert guidance and insights on various engineering-related issues, helping project teams make informed decisions. Conduct inspections and analyses to ensure project compliance with standards by regularly examining project sites, reviewing engineering plans, and performing detailed analyses to verify that all aspects of the project meet established standards and specifications. Operational Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain detailed records of project activities and progress by meticulously documenting every phase of the project, including milestones, challenges, and achievements, to create a comprehensive record that can be referenced for future planning and reporting. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders by compiling and organizing all necessary information into clear, concise, and informative reports that communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to both internal team members and external parties such as regulatory bodies and investors. Vendor Coordination: Help the Lead in evaluating vendors and contractors for airside construction services by gathering information on their technical and financial capacities. Support in tracking contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and project timelines. Quality and Safety Support: Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety and quality standards by implementing and enforcing strict safety protocols and quality control measures throughout the construction process. Assist in conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues by systematically reviewing construction sites and processes to detect any deviations from standards and taking corrective actions to resolve any identified problems. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with other departments and external agencies to ensure smooth project execution by facilitating effective communication and collaboration between various internal departments and external organizations involved in the project. Provide support to project teams in resolving technical and operational challenges by offering assistance and solutions to overcome any obstacles that may arise during the project, ensuring that work continues smoothly and efficiently. Qualifications and Experience


    Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field). Work Experience: 10-15 years of experience in construction or engineering roles.
