Manager - Production

As a Production Manager at Chart Industries located in Sricity, Tada, Andhra Pradesh, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Manage the production area, including planning, coordination, and control of all activities related to the production processes, productivity, and maintenance. - Plan the production to meet monthly production targets and project schedules. - Cross-verify material indent requisitions with engineering drawings. - Ensure effective utilization of manpower with maximum efficiency. - Ensure that production activities adhere to drawings, QAP, and welding procedures as per WPS. - Ensure timely achievement of production targets within agreed time frames and cost parameters. - Ensure compliance with safety, statutory regulations, quality management systems, and IMS procedures. - Work on cost-saving initiatives through value analysis/value engineering. - Create and follow necessary indicators for evaluating the manufacturing process for continuous improvement practices such as LEAN management and SIX Sigma. - Reduce rework and rejection rates by applying various tools and processes. - Establish a safe working environment and maintain good housekeeping in the workshop. - Define preventive and corrective actions in collaboration with the quality representative to address non-conformities. - Participate in the development of new products, conduct relevant studies, and analyze production capacity. - Manage corrective electrical and mechanical maintenance programs in the production areas to prevent interruptions and damages. - Promote a quality culture among professionals to maintain the Quality System and ISO Certification. Qualifications required for this position include: - BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 15 to 20 years of experience in Cryogenic/Pressure Vessels/Oil & Gas/Boilers industry or any capital goods manufacturing & fabrication industry. - Good knowledge of welding processes (TIG, MIG & SAW), testing procedures, and ASME codes. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - People management skills. - Hardworking and result-oriented approach towards achieving tasks.,
