Job Summary:

Picking and Export Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Picking Operations:

• Supervise and coordinate the order picking team to ensure accurate and efficient picking of products.
  
• Implement and monitor picking strategies (FIFO, LIFO, batch picking, etc.) to optimize warehouse efficiency.
  
• Use WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to manage and track inventory movement.
  
• Ensure picked goods are properly packed and labeled for dispatch.
  

2. Dispatch Management:

• Plan and oversee the daily dispatch schedule to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  
• Coordinate with transportation and courier companies for local and international deliveries.
  
• Ensure shipping documents are accurate and complete (packing lists, invoices, waybills, etc.).
  
• Resolve any delays or issues in the dispatch process.
  

3. Export Operations:

• Manage the preparation and documentation of international shipments in compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
  
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies.
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export regulations, documentation requirements, and incoterms.
  
• Ensure proper handling and storage of export goods to maintain quality during transit.
  

4. Team Management & Compliance:

• Lead, train, and motivate the picking and dispatch team to achieve performance targets.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  
• Monitor KPIs and report on performance metrics (order accuracy, dispatch lead time, etc.).
  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality standards, and legal requirements.
  

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  
• Minimum of 35 years of experience in warehouse, dispatch, or export operations.
  
• Proven experience in managing teams and logistics processes.
  

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  
• In-depth knowledge of export documentation and shipping regulations.
  
• Proficient in using logistics software and WMS.
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Export Compliance or International Trade (e.g., CGBP, IIEI).
  
• Experience with SAP systems (Oracle).
