Design products and servicesDevelop New Products - Understand marketing brief and convert into recipe andspecifications for assigned projects for local and export markets. Create conceptsamples and conduct feasibility studies.Source ingredients from suppliers, and conduct pilot plant trails and then scale up inactual production centre to provide samples for market research;Check on legal compliance, calculate costs, identify ingredients and equipmentrequirements.Vendor Management - Coordinate and Recommend business partners and vendorsfor supporting on projects and ingredientsProvide Engineering Support - Help in identifying technology, suppliers and equipmentmanufacturers for equipment and process up gradation;Produce and deliver products and services - Support engineering in sourcing /developing equipment for new products in order to ensure availability of appropriatemachinery for productionMarket and sellUnderstand Markets - Competitor Understanding, Support market intelligence andcollect and analyze competitor samples from the market;With brand teams validate findings of pilot plant trials through market research inorder to ensure products are acceptable in the market through defined and agreedconsumer preference testing methodologies.Manage information resources and technologyManage Documentation Availability And Features
Prepare product and process standards documents and circulate to designated teamsFinish all back end formalities and documentations to ensure timely development andcommercialization of innovationsManage Brands - All round product renovations of products and brands under purview,conduct technical feasibility, collect data and evaluate products and machines, conductpilot plant trials, scale up and support in order to ensure timely and successfulrenovation /innovation of productsUpdating of technical documentation regarding recipe and co-ordinate with supportfunctions to enable transfer of technical info in order to share accurate information ina timely mannerOthersExperience in Multiple Product Platforms and New Business Projects will be an addedadvantageEducationQualification Post Graduate, preferably in Food Technology and Related FieldsDesiredcompetenciesKnowledge of Food Products Research and Development, Manufacturing, Regulatory andQuality AssuranceTeam Management Skills Including Collaboration, Influencing and Stake HolderManagementExperience (yrs) 15+ Years of Experience in Food Science & Technology preferably Bakery Products (ProductDevelopment or R&D function).Added Experience of 3 - 5 years in Manufacturing / Quality willbe preferable.
