Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for electric machine design and development for traction application(2W/3W/4W) Collaborative work with mechanical, electrical, thermal, HW, SW, manufacturing and test teams. Product level system design including Electrical motor, Transmission, Motor control unit, Mechanical. Able to work in team and team contributor Good work experience in tools like NX / Solidworks, CATIA and Ansys Experience & Skills Electrical Powertrain layout and packaging. Hands on experience on different motor topologies including IM, IMP, EESM, PMaSynRM etc., Hands on experience in analytical calculations and tolerance stack up analysis Hands on experience in designing different winding layouts such as hairpin, wave winding and concentrated windings Hands-on experience in DFM, DFA and DFS of powertrain. Hands on experience in FMEAs , DVP and prototyping Knowledge and in depth understanding on CAE and CFD Hands on in DoE and Problem solving techniques Partner with manufacturing and production teams to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes and improve manufacturing efficiency.
