Our Markets team focuses on providing account teams with the support they need to help drive revenue growth. Our "account-centric" approach to serving clients starts with knowing about their business and providing tools and enablers to provide consistency on how we identify and align our services and solutions to our clients' most pressing issues. We deliver services through one or more of our four global service linesAssurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions and Tax. Our Markets team comprises of Executive Management, Business Development and Brand Media & Communication (BMC).By following EY methodologies, executing on guidance, and leveraging tools and judicious programs, we bring the necessary rigor to our engagements. Liaising with internal stakeholders to identify priority areas, growth driver solutions, review account plans and to drive growth and market enablement initiativesConceptualising and implementing firm-wide market campaigns to link and align teams on focus solutions, growth opportunities, etcMonitoring firm revenue and pipeline and facilitating management reviewPreparing GTM materials for the firmPreparing reports for management review
Your key responsibilities
Technical Excellence
The Manager Finance Planning & Operations will partner with the CTO Office to manage financial governance, cost recovery, and operational controls as EY India scales its platform build-out and advisory delivery across service lines. The role ensures financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance across complex inter-service-line transactions, vendor payments, and software or infrastructure spends. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end financial tracking, analysis, and reporting for the CTO Office across multiple products and delivery teams. Manage invoice governance for vendors, software, cloud infrastructure, and fabric costs incurred centrally by the CTO Office. Lead inter-service-line chargeback processes for platforms, advisory builds, and technology services delivered by CT to business lines (Advisory, Assurance, Tax, Consulting, Strategy & Transactions). Coordinate invoicing and financial reconciliation across entities and geographies (e.g., Bangladesh team delivery to India service lines). Resolve compliance and process issues leading to stuck or delayed invoices and payments, ensuring adherence to EY policies and audit standards. Validate people costs, project codes, and allocations against approved budgets and delivery milestones to maintain cost transparency. Partner with Finance, Procurement, and Business Operations teams to streamline billing workflows, contract governance, and vendor tracking. Maintain dashboards and documentation for budget utilization, forecasts, and recovery status. Support the annual planning process for technology budgets, ensuring spend alignment with approved investment priorities. Key Requirements812 years of experience in finance operations, FP&A, or commercial governance roles within large organizations, preferably in technology or professional services. Strong understanding of accounting, budgeting, and inter-entity / inter-departmental chargeback mechanisms. Hands-on experience managing vendor invoices, cost allocations, and reconciliations. Working knowledge of ERP or financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel-based modeling or reporting tools. Demonstrated ability to resolve process bottlenecks, ensure compliance, and drive cross-functional alignment. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in matrixed environments and handling multi-entity financial flows. CA (Inter) / MBA (Finance) / CMA or equivalent qualification preferred.
